The largest US Virgin Island, with Danish colonial towns, rainforest drives, and some of the Caribbean's best snorkeling.

St. Croix is the largest of the US Virgin Islands, with a Danish colonial past still visible in its towns. Ships dock at the long pier in Frederiksted on the island's west end.
The island is quieter than its neighbors, with a relaxed pace, sunny beaches, and great water right off the shore. It suits beach lovers, snorkelers, and anyone who likes a calm, uncrowded port.

Grand Turk has it all - stunning ship views, a pool, great snorkeling, and crystal-clear water! This port will always be my favorite!
My favorites: walk through Fort Frederik, right next to the pier; explore historic Christiansted with its Danish buildings and boardwalk; snorkel Buck Island Reef National Monument; visit Point Udall, the easternmost point of the United States; tour the Estate Whim Plantation Museum to learn about the island's history.
US dollar.
Frederiksted town is right at the foot of the pier, and taxis can take you to Christiansted and the beaches around the island.
